Due to its central site Prem is a very good starting point for the visit of world-famous curiosities like Castle Neuschwanstein (18 km), Castle Linderhof (40 km), rococo church Wieskirche (10 km). You have 20 km to come to Füssen, 34 km
to the small town Oberammergau with its famous Passion Play, and about 40 km to visit the monastery of Ettal..
It takes you only 20 km to reach the neighbouring Tyrol (Austria) and after 53 km a visit of Germany’s highest mountain is possible, the Zugspitze, situated on top of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
If you want to go to Munich – the Bavarian capital is away only some 100 km, and within abt. 120 km you can visit Lake Constance with the wonderful, flower-covered isle of Mainau.
